I have strong opinions on many issues, some of which are listed directly to the left (in no particular order).

Several of these issues revolve around a central theme --- money.  When it comes to money, the mode of operation in Washington is to spend it now and worry about how to pay for it later.  This is money that we don't have, so they just print more to compensate.  As a result, the national debt has reached epic proportions and only grows larger with each passing day.  This can't go on forever without severely impacting our economy and national security.

Our priorities need to be reprioritized now, not later.  The way we do this is no different than the way the average American family does it.  You spend within your means by adopting a budget with realistic goals and expectations.  You adjust your spending as needed to meet changing requirements resulting from unexpected occurrences.  There is no reason whatsoever that the federal government can't operate the same way.  It's just that the whole idea of fiscal responsibility is a completely foreign concept to those in power.
